Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is an international women’s organization founded on January 16, 1920 on the campus of Howard University, Washington D.C. The sorority stands on the principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood. Serving communities for over 100 years, the organization is noted for its many firsts, including the first to charter a chapter to serve communities in Africa in 1948, the first to establish auxiliary groups, and the first and only sorority to be constitutionally bound to a fraternity, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated.
Delta Alpha Nu Zeta Chapter members (affectionately referred to as the High Desert Zetas) look forward to uplifting the lives of High Desert community members through the sorority’s international priorities such as prematurity awareness, autism awareness, mental health awareness, domestic violence awareness, eldercare outreach and adopt-a-school initiatives, to name a few.
The chapter is chartered by 12 college-educated members of the sorority who are already engaged in critical positions throughout the Inland Empire.
